Been using Dell Inspiron 1420 over a year now when i finally let go of it. I know im gonna miss it.
that's why i need a new bestfriend.
Just recently i got my new MSI Wind mini- notebook. Bought it at Gilmore with greater specs at low cost.
We had looked on different models and was leaning heavily towards Hp mini, but upon canvassing we found out that it has lower specs than any others with almost the same price. Which only mean, that the greater specs of it, the higher the price. Well, im not a fan of a high-end price netbooks (except for Mac which my hubby own) The fact that all laptops are almost the same, they only differs in specs. That's why i got MSI wind, great specs at low cost. I had a great deal on this one.
My purpose of getting a netbook is to get something portable as possible and still be able to surf the net with relative ease. Moreover, a netbook which is light enough to carry around anywhere and everywhere i go and still be able to work as an online provider.(unlike my previously owned Dell lappy which is way too heavy) Yeah, you read it right.. aside from being a full time wifey and mom, I'm also a part time stay-at-home-working-mom! MSI wind really fits for me... i named it Tiny Windy! isn't it a nice name?...hehe

Holy Week this year (2009) runs from April 5 - April 11.
April 5 - Palm Sunday
April 6 - Holy Monday
April 7 - Holy Tuesday
April 8 - Spy Wednesday (an old and uncommon name for the Wednesday of Holy Week, which commemorates Judas' agreement to betray Jesus)
April 9 - Maundy Thursday (The name "Maundy Thursday" is derived from Jesus "mandate" to love one another as he loves us. This day celebrates Jesus' institution of the sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Ordination. Also known as "Shear Thursday.")
April 10 - Good Friday (the Lord's passion- A Fast day of the Church commemorating Jesus' crucifixion and death.)
April 11 - Black Saturday (the final night before the Feast of the Resurrection, which begins at the Great Easter Vigil.)
April 12 - Easter Sunday (the resurrection of Jesus)
*** Some Catholics would make the Lent as a time to reaffirm their faith and spend the holiday in reflection. However, there are those who thinks that it's the perfect time to get away by leaving the cities travelling abroad or go-out-of-town and spend the Holy Week at the beaches taking advantage of the Holiday.
Oh well, no matter how you may choose to spend the Holy Week, I think what’s important is we don’t lose the essence of the Holy Week by visiting at the church and reflecting on our faith and life in general.
(We will be off to Ilocos early next morning and spend the rest of the Holy Week there till Easter Sunday)
